A glass of authentic wine, a conversation with its maker and a stroll through the streets of old Bojnice.
That is the flavour of our festival. We bring distinctive wines from Slovakia and beyond to local restaurants, cafés and wine shops. There is no rush. In the spirit of slow travel, take your time and enjoy every sip.
Wine was made in Bojnice as early as the 15th century. Our festival continues that tradition in its own way: through encounters with winemakers and experiences worth returning for.

Bencovje grunt – Museum of Crafts is home to the main organiser and the festival headquarters. This is where you collect your tasting pass, find information and pick up extra coupons. It is also where a simple toast can turn into a lovely afternoon.
More than 400 years of history live on here. Discover the old homestead, its pottery workshop and a welcoming spot for coffee or a glass of wine in historic Bojnice — during the festival and beyond.

On the festival day, 17 October 2026, from 13:00 at Bencovje grunt, Hviezdoslavova 34, Bojnice.
Glass and pouch returns
Undamaged glasses and pouches could be returned at Bencovje grunt by 22:00 on the festival day. Each item carried a refundable €5 deposit.

Bojnice deserves more than a day. Treat yourself to a whole weekend and give your car a rest.

Tastings are paid for with coupons. The number required depends on the wine. Extra coupons could be purchased at Bencovje grunt during the festival. Bring a pen to make notes in your booklet.
Where does the wine walk begin?
The starting point is Bencovje grunt – Museum of Crafts, Hviezdoslavova 34. In 2026, pass sales began at 13:00 and tastings ran from 14:00 to 20:00.
Do I have to visit the stops in order?
No. Choose your own order to help avoid queues, and feel free to return to a favourite winery. All stops are within walking distance. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
Where can I park and stay?
If you are staying overnight, ask your hotel or guesthouse about parking. For day visits, the original festival website recommends the central car park below Régia. Check current arrangements before travelling. Do not drive after wine tasting.
Can I buy bottles to take home?
Yes, you can buy your favourite wines to take home. Avoid leaving your purchases until the last minute and bring a small, practical backpack.
What conditions applied to the pass?
Purchased passes were non-refundable. By purchasing a pass, visitors agreed to the taking and use of photographs and videos to promote the event. The programme was subject to change.
